A delegation from Oregon State University (OSU), led by Professor David Stone, Associate Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences, and Ms. Rachael Fahrenbach, Director of the International Office of the College of Forestry, visited the College on January 30, 2026. The visit focused on promoting student exchange opportunities, including study abroad programs and laboratory internships, as well as exploring potential faculty collaboration between the two institutions.

During the visit, the delegation met with department chairs and directors of the Smart Agriculture Research Center and the Animal and Plant Health Research Center to gain insight into the College’s research strengths in agriculture, biotechnology, and sustainability. The delegation also toured the greenhouse facilities and the Green Health Research Center, highlighting ongoing efforts in industry–academia collaboration and innovative research applications.

In the afternoon, the delegation held discussions with faculty members from the School of Forestry and Resource Conservation and engaged in a face-to-face exchange with students. Both institutions expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation in teaching, research, and student exchange, with the shared goal of cultivating professionals with a global perspective in agriculture and sustainability.
